Our Winemakers

Vinofactum is the German distributor and ambassador of a small, carefully curated selection of boutique natural winegrowers from the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Croatia, and Slovakia.
Though less known among wine lovers, these countries all have centuries-old wine traditions, and they have so much to offer to curious minds and palates: freshness, exciting autochthonous varieties, and incredible value.
Vinofactum's founder, Šárka, comes from a winemaking family in Kobylí, Czechia, making the choice to represent these wines a natural way to honor her roots and community.

Our philosophy
The major thing that unites all our winemakers (and Vinofactum, as a wine importer) is our shared belief that no one “owns” the land. There are only stewards trying to keep this natural richness for future generations.
We're 100% positive that organic and biodynamic farming is the best way to bring the most pleasurable, terroir-authentic, and flavourful experience in your glass, and, even more importantly, to preserve our soil, our landscape, our planet.
Natural wine, low intervention, vin vivant – call it what you will. It's simply the most sustainable way, one that also honours local cultural traditions and grape varieties, often centuries old. Our winemakers run the gamut from families who have been tending vineyards since the late 1500s to young talents.
