Jiří Bárta: Pálava Orange 2022

Jiří Bárta is a micro-producer crafting each vintage with a lot of love & care. There are only 150 litres of this made, making it a real limited edition! Pálava is a Czech cross of Gewürztraminer and Müller Thurgau and it’s a beautifully aromatic variety typical for aromas of dried apricots, white tea and cloves, made as an orange wine. 2 weeks of skin-contact and a vinification in a glass demijohn helped this wine to preserve its freshness, and it was bottled without fining & filtration.

Aromatic, fruity, opulent, this wine is a perfect pairing to asian cuisine, pulled pork, fattier fish or roasted portobello mushrooms.
