Herzánovi: Sylvaner 2017

Sylvaner is a grape variety which originates in Austria but is also quite well represented in the Czech Republic. It’s not the easiest grape variety to work with but Herzánovi mastered the art and make excellent, elegant Sylvaner which is a true expression of the terroir in Kobylí, South Moravia.

In this full-bodied Sylvaner, you’ll find tones of acacia blossom, honey and spices, with a very good minerality. Expect higher acidity but at the same time creaminess and roundness, with a very long finish.

Aged for 12 months on fine lees in oak barrels. It has been bottled without fining, filtration and completely without SO2. This one is for real natural wine connoisseurs.
